Job summary

TEGNA is seeking a President & General Manager for WBNS-TV Columbus, a TEGNA-owned CBS affiliate. You will lead overall performance, set market strategy, and drive revenue growth across content, sales, brand and operations.

You will guide multiplatform strategy, strengthen journalistic quality, expand audience reach, and build strong community partnerships while managing budgets and leading a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, business or related field.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering business results.
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Experience leading across multiple functions with cross-team alignment.

Responsibilities

• Leads strategy and performance of the operation across content, sales, brand and operations.
• Develops and executes short- and long-term strategies to grow revenue and audience.
• Provides strategic leadership for journalism quality and multiplatform presence.
• Leads multiplatform strategy to expand reach, engagement, content and distribution.
• Partners with sales to drive revenue and advertiser solutions.
