Reporting to the President/CEO, the CLO will drive portfolio performance, regulatory compliance, and talent development, partnering with the executive team to unlock opportunities and deliver responsible, lasting value for members and the community.

Qualifications

• Senior-level leadership in lending within a credit union, bank, or financial institution.
• Experience leading consumer and mortgage lending portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of lending operations, underwriting, pricing, and risk management.
• Commercial lending knowledge or experience is a plus.
• Track record of growing and managing lending portfolios responsibly.
• Ability to translate market opportunities into measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive lending strategy aligned with growth and profitability.
• Provide leadership across consumer and mortgage lending including origination, underwriting, and portfolio management.
• Identify opportunities to diversify the loan portfolio while maintaining credit quality.
• Bring commercial lending perspective to the organization and apply it where appropriate.
• Evaluate lending processes, products, technology, and delivery channels for efficiency.
• Use data and market intelligence to guide pricing, underwriting, and growth initiatives.
• Balance growth with sound underwriting and regulatory compliance.
• Build and develop high-performing lending teams with clear accountability.
