IFF is seeking a General Counsel & Enterprise Compliance Lead to provide strategic legal guidance and advance enterprise governance, risk, and compliance. The role partners with executive leadership to integrate legal and regulatory considerations into strategic decisions.

The position reports to the President and COO and leads the Risk, Compliance & Legal team, advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion across governance practices.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school and active state bar membership.
• Minimum fifteen years of experience in legal counsel, compliance, governance, or enterprise risk.
• Experience with commercial real estate finance, community development lending, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Serve as chief legal officer and advisor to executive leadership on legal, governance, enterprise risk, regulatory, and reputational matters.
• Develop and execute IFF’s legal, governance, and enterprise compliance strategy to support long-term objectives.
• Lead risk assessment, escalation, and governance processes across the organization.
• Oversee contracting standards, vendor relationships, and regulatory compliance across departments.
