The General Counsel & Enterprise Compliance Lead provides strategic legal guidance, oversees enterprise compliance and governance, and partners with executive leadership to embed legal considerations early in planning.

The role focuses on executive advisory, risk management, policy development, and cross‑functional governance, balancing legal rigor with operational practicality

Competenze

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
• Minimum of fifteen years of experience in legal counsel, compliance, governance, enterprise risk, or related fields with focus on commercial real estate finance or development.
• Experience advising CEOs, executive leadership teams, and boards on enterprise strategy, governance, and risk.

• Advise CEO, President & COO, and Board on material strategic, regulatory, governance, legal, and reputational risks.
• Integrate legal, governance, compliance, and enterprise-risk considerations into major organizational initiatives.
• Direct governance structures, board processes, and enterprise accountability frameworks.
• Lead contract review standards, risk thresholds, and governance policies for significant agreements.
• Oversee crisis management, internal investigations, and regulatory responses.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments affecting IFF and the CDFI sector.
