Job summary

Osanni Bio in San Francisco seeks a VP, Legal to act as principal counsel for Osanni and affiliates, owning the hub-and-spoke legal architecture, contracts, governance and compliance as the company scales.

Ideal candidate: J.D. from an ABA school, California Bar admission, 15+ years of corporate/transactional experience, and proven leadership in a lean in-house biotech or life sciences team. Strong negotiation and executive partnering required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of corporate and transactional legal experience
• Experience leading corporate governance and financing matters
• In-house experience in biotech or life sciences preferred
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Advise CEO, leadership team and Board on corporate, transactional and risk matters
• Design and own hub-and-spoke legal architecture and intercompany agreements
• Lead corporate governance, board materials, and cap table management
• Manage outside counsel and budget for specialized areas
