Job summary

Providence is seeking an Executive Director of Procurement to lead Information Services sourcing and category management, directing a portfolio worth about $1B in annual spend across software, cloud, cybersecurity and related tech services.

You will transform S2S processes, partner with Legal, Compliance, IT and Finance, and drive best practices and dashboards to improve governance and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
• Master's Degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee IS sourcing and category management functions to maximize resources and optimize daily operations.
• Ensure staff training and optimal use of IT systems, sourcing tools, and market intelligence.
• Monitor compliance for IS sourcing and contracting practices including privacy, cybersecurity and regulatory requirements.
• Optimize supplier integration across sourcing, contracting, vendor management and governance.
• Maintain technology roadmaps, supplier strategies and master data with internal partners.
• Educate leadership on processes for technology, supply and service acquisitions.
• Design and implement dashboards to track department performance against goals.
• Develop processes, policies and templates to ensure sourcing excellence for IS.
• Benchmark industry practices and translate into actionable improvements.
• Develop partnerships to support Providence's digital strategy.
• Foster creativity and continuous improvement through leadership and teamwork.
• Measure partner satisfaction through regular surveys.
