Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or formal training in innovation preferred.
Knowledge of customer discovery, jobs-to-be-done, behavioral research, and portfolio management.
Experience uncovering unmet client or market needs and translating insight into concepts.
Ability to manage an innovation portfolio, budgets, and funding decisions.

Responsibilities

Build ongoing discovery capability from donors, advisors, nonprofits, and partners.
Scan adjacent industries for shifts and opportunities to define strategic growth.
Lead enterprise experimentation engine with stage gates and learning documentation.
Develop a balanced portfolio of growth hypotheses and make go/no-go decisions.
Design experiments, prototypes, and pilots with cross-functional teams.
Manage discovery budgets and reallocate funds as evidence evolves.
Incubate concepts and plan paths to launch or scale.
