Job summary

Moonshot seeks a seasoned technology executive to set the multi-year strategy and lead the organization across IT, cybersecurity, software, and applied AI. This executive partner to the CEO/COO will shape platform direction, governance, and budget for a rapidly growing electrical equipment manufacturer serving AI datacenter deployments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in progressive technology leadership, including time as CTO/CIO or equivalent at a meaningful scale.
• Experience guiding a director-tier leadership team, not hands-on builder.
• Experience at an executive table on company-level decisions (capital, capacity, M&A).
• History presenting technology to a board, strategic customers, or external auditors.
• Capital-intensive manufacturing/industrial experience preferred; SaaS-only backgrounds not a fit.
• Experience in hypergrowth where tech scaled ahead of business.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year technology strategy and platform direction.
• Partner with CEO/COO on capital planning, capacity, and growth decisions.
• Lead the technology organization; hire and develop directors in IT, cybersecurity, software, and AI.
• Own technology risk posture, IT controls, data and AI governance for enterprise audiences.
• Oversee enterprise vendor relationships and budget as a unified technology portfolio.
