Job summary

NVIDIA seeks an engineering leader to build and run Infrastructure Security Engineering for EDA Clusters. You will own security controls across compute, storage, and networking in on-prem data centers and multi-cloud environments, acting as a peer to the security organization and hardware infra engineering.

You will guide a team to deliver production-grade, automated security outcomes, balancing performance with security at scale, and you will own the blueprint for secure-by-default

Qualifications

• 12+ years building and operating production infrastructure at scale including networking, compute clusters, and storage.
• 5+ years leading and managing engineering teams.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent experience.
• Deep networking expertise in large compute environments.
• Hands-on depth operating compute fleets at scale for long-running jobs.
• Experience securing performance-sensitive environments with constrained tooling.
• Experience leading security or platform engineering within EDA, HPC, or large research clusters.
• Ability to drive unified outcomes across organizational boundaries and communicate with executives.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team of engineers, directing a roadmap for EDA-specific security controls into production.
• Make the network and platform your control plane, ensuring protection across multi-cloud environments.
• Engineer around hard constraints, designing security for multi-day compute jobs.
• Ensure uniform enforcement of security frameworks across on-prem and cloud platforms.
• Oversee lifecycle of core infrastructure security technologies: selection, deployment, operation, replacement.
• Automate evidence, KPIs, and audit workflows to show security posture as an engineering output.
• Think like an adversary and plan mitigations across network, storage, and compute.
• Champion security by design with automation and secure defaults throughout the lifecycle.
