Job summary

AV seeks a visionary executive to serve as Vice President of Cybersecurity & Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). This role directs AV’s global cybersecurity program, shaping strategy, governance, and enterprise risk management to safeguard information and technology assets.

The successful candidate will lead SOC operations, incident response, and regulatory compliance across DoD programs, with a Top Secret/SCI clearance and a proven ability to penetrate complex, multi-site organizations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related technical field required.
Master's degree in related fields is strongly preferred.
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in information security, with at least 10 years in senior leadership roles.
Extensive experience in defense contracting environment with classified programs.
Proven track record implementing and maintaining DoD cybersecurity compliance programs (NIST 800-171, CMMC, RMF).
Demonstrated experience managing enterprise-wide security programs in complex, multi-site organizations.
Experience leading organizations through CMMC certification and FedRAMP authorization processes.
Strong background in both physical and cyber security operations.
Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance required.
U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Establish and maintain information security governance framework, policies, standards, and procedures.
Lead enterprise risk management related to cybersecurity and information protection.
Oversee cybersecurity budget planning, resource allocation, and investments.
Direct SOC operations, incident response, and threat intelligence.
Oversee cloud security for classified and unclassified environments.
Lead insider threat detection and cross-border data transfer controls.
Coordinate with government customers and regulatory bodies.
