Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct Bank's Information Technology function.
• Manage vendor relationships with data service providers and third parties.
• Develop IT budget with IT Committee and secure equipment.
• Ensure IT Strategic Plan supports company-wide goals.
• Plan, deploy and maintain IT systems and operations.
• Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures.
• Oversee network and system implementations.
• Oversee disaster recovery operations.
• Monitor IT trends and emerging technologies.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments.
• Monitor threats and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Educate employees and foster security awareness.
• Chair IT Steering Committee and participate in ERM.
• Direct reports include Director of Information Technology.

Chief Information Officer

Job Summary:

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for the direction of the Bank's Information Technology functions including initiatives and strategy. The CIO oversees computer systems, while managing and implementing technology to support the Bank's goals. The CIO evaluates emerging technologies to improve IT department performance and efficiencies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and direct Bank's Information Technology function


• Responsible for contractual arrangements and ongoing vendor management with data service providers and other third party vendors ensuring quality technology service to both internal and external customers


• Work with IT Committee to develop an IT budget and secure necessary equipment


• Ensure IT Strategic Plan supports company-wide goals


• Planning, deploying and maintaining IT systems and operations


• Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures and best practices


• Work with IT Director to oversee network and system implementations


• Oversee disaster recovery operations


• Stay up to date on IT trends and emerging technologies


• Implement industry-best practices and conduct regular vulnerability assessments


• Monitor potential threats, develop incident response plans and ensure compliance with stringent regulatory requirements


• Educate employees, implement security awareness programs and foster a culture of vigilance


• Chair of the Bank's IT Steering Committee


• Member of Enterprise Risk Management Committee


• Other committees as assigned


• Direct reports include Director of Information Technology

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, cyber security or information technology


• Ten (10) years minimum of relevant experience within the financial services industry
