Chief Information Officer (CIO)

The CIO will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of information technology within the organization, with a strong focus on enabling the mortgage business through secure, scalable infrastructure and innovative technology solutions. The CIO will guide both day-to-day IT operations and the long-term digital strategy, ensuring technology investments align with regulatory requirements, customer needs, and the company’s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance and optimization of secure IT infrastructure (networks, cloud services, end-user systems, SaaS applications)
• Ensure high availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery capabilities to protect critical operations
• Manage and maintain SOC II Type II compliance
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations (CFPB, GLBA, etc.) and data privacy laws
• Establish and monitor KPI’s for system uptime, performance, and scalability
• Manage vendor relationships with core technology providers and fintech integrations
• Build, mentor and manage a high-performing IT team across infrastructure, applications and development, and emerging technologies
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the IT organization
• Manage technology budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery of IT services and help manage future CapEx investments

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including CIO, CTO or senior IT executive role
• Knowledge of mortgage industry technology platforms and providers (AI, OCR, Document identification and extraction)
• Proven track record of managing enterprise IT infrastructure and leading transformation initiatives and driving innovation through automation
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and data governance in financial services
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills
• Visionary thinking with execution-oriented mind-set
• Ability to balance operational excellence with innovation
