Job summary

Illumination Health + Home seeks a visionary, mission-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join the Executive Leadership Team. The COO translates strategic priorities into measurable outcomes, ensuring high-quality, client-centered, and financially sustainable services across counties and service lines.

Salary Range: $210,000–$230,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience, with leadership oversight of housing, healthcare, and supportive services to disrupt homelessness through

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred in healthcare administration, business, public health, or related field.
• Minimum ten years of progressively responsible executive leadership experience.
• Experience leading multi-site healthcare, nonprofit, housing, or human services orgs.
• Knowledge of Medicaid, CalAIM, managed care and regulatory environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO to execute the organization's strategic vision and growth initiatives.
• Provide executive oversight of operations across healthcare, housing, and supportive services.
• Drive operational excellence, performance improvement, and cross-functional alignment.
• Develop leaders, succession planning, and a culture of accountability.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and productivity with the CFO.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, quality, and accreditation standards.
