Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • 10+ years HR leadership experience, preferably in higher education.
  • 6+ years supervisory experience.
  • Proven HR operations and process design skills.
  • Experience with Title IX and EEO compliance.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space.

This senior leadership role will guide the full spectrum of human resources operations, with a strong focus on aligning people strategy to the needs of a complex higher education environment. The position will partner closely with institutional leadership to strengthen service delivery, support employee experience, and ensure HR programs are executed with consistency and care. It also carries responsibility for advancing compliance, talent development, and organizational effectiveness across the institution.

Location: Lewisburg, PA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $225,000 – $296,000 annually

Responsibilities
  • Lead HR operations, including service delivery and HRIS data management
  • Manage compensation and benefits execution, including wellness programs
  • Administer retirement and health plans, including oversight of a self-insured health plan
  • Run the annual performance management cycle and talent development processes
  • Manage employee relations and conduct confidential investigations
  • Partner on compliance matters related to Title IX and EEO
  • Develop and administer HR policies in line with applicable laws
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • 10+ years of HR leadership experience, preferably in higher education
