Job summary

Eastern Oregon University seeks a Chief Human Resources Officer and Employee Relations to lead all HR functions and strategic workforce initiatives. You will guide employee and labor relations, negotiate faculty agreements, and advise senior leadership on organizational effectiveness.

The role oversees recruitment, benefits, compensation, performance management, training, and regulatory compliance to support equity, inclusion, and student success.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) or more years in HR leadership roles.
• Experience serving as lead negotiator in faculty bargaining.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance across multiple states.
