Job summary
Vantor is seeking a Principal/Chief Engineer to lead an HPC and private cloud solutions team. You will manage engineering and system administration staff across the full lifecycle of programs, performing requirements analysis, architecture design, and system testing to ensure successful delivery for mission-focused customers.
The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, DoD/IC experience, and strong leadership.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
- 15+ years in computer science, systems development, product development, system engineering or related field.
- Experience leading a professional staff and strong leadership skills.
- Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee engineering and system administration staff across full program/lifecycle.
- Perform requirements analysis, architecture design, timing analyses, trade studies, interface definition.
- Define processes for hardware/software platforms and system specifications.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, diagrams, and models.
- Plan engineering requirements and roadmaps; coordinate external dependencies as needed.
- Stay abreast of cyber security trends and evolving threats.
