Chief Growth Officer

Remote, United States - Travel 50-75%

Gresham Executive are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to lead the expansion and corporate development initiatives of our private equity-backed healthcare services organization.

The CGO will be responsible for driving growth through mergers and acquisitions (M&A), strategic partnerships, and organic expansion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate development within the behavioral health industry, with a proven track record of scaling organizations in a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy, including M&A, partnerships, and market expansion.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate acquisition opportunities to drive business growth and enhance service offerings.
  • Collaborate with private equity partners and executive leadership to align growth strategies with investment goals and financial performance targets.
  • Lead integration efforts post-acquisition to ensure seamless transitions and operational synergies.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes to inform business development initiatives.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and optimize growth initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, investors, and potential acquisition targets.
  • Oversee marketing, business development, and strategic partnership functions to drive patient acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Work closely with clinical and operational leadership to ensure growth initiatives align with patient care excellence and compliance standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate development, M&A, and strategic growth roles, preferably within the behavioral health or healthcare services industry.
  • Demonstrated success in executing and integrating acquisitions within a private equity-backed environment.
  • Deep understanding of the behavioral health industry, including regulatory requirements and market dynamics.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in valuation modeling, due diligence, and deal structuring.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
