Chief Growth Officer

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Growth Officer will lead enterprise-wide growth strategy and oversee Sales, Marketing, Center Development, Contracting & Public Policy, and Payor Relations for a rapidly growing multi-site healthcare organization.

Job Details

The Chief Growth Officer will directly lead senior executives responsible for:

  • De Novo Center Development
  • Marketing
  • Sales
  • Payor Relations, Contracting, & Public Policy

This role requires a leader who can align multiple functions around common growth objectives while creating accountability, visibility, and execution excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute enterprise-wide growth strategy in partnership with the CEO and executive leadership team.
  • Lead and develop senior leaders responsible for Center Development, Sales, Marketing, Contracting & Public Policy, and Payor Relations.
  • Identify and evaluate new markets, growth opportunities, strategic partnerships, and expansion initiatives.
  • Oversee de novo expansion strategy, market selection, referral growth initiatives, customer acquisition efforts, and market penetration strategies.
  • Ensure alignment across all growth functions through shared KPIs, forecasting, reporting, and accountability structures.
  • Build scalable systems, dashboards, and operational processes that improve visibility, decision-making, and organizational performance.
  • Partner with Operations, Finance, Clinical Leadership, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders to support sustainable growth.
  • Drive strategic planning efforts related to geographic expansion, capacity planning, competitive positioning, and long-term value creation.
  • Develop executive-level reporting and regularly present growth strategies, performance metrics, forecasts, and recommendations to executive leadership, boards, and investors.
  • Evaluate organizational capabilities and build the infrastructure necessary to support rapid growth and scale.
Desired Background
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within healthcare services, multi-site healthcare, healthcare operations, growth, development, strategy, business development, or related functions.
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise growth initiatives within a multi-site healthcare organization.
  • Experience overseeing multiple functions simultaneously, including combinations of development, sales, marketing, business development, contracting, network development, provider relations, or growth operations.
  • Proven success scaling organizations through periods of rapid growth, transformation, or market expansion.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare services, reimbursement models, payor dynamics, referral channels, and market development.
  • Experience working in private equity-backed, founder-led, or high-growth healthcare environments preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, business case analysis, and growth planning.
  • Experience presenting to boards, investors, ownership groups, and executive leadership teams.
