Job summary

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley is seeking a Chief Development Officer to craft and drive a multi-year fundraising strategy, expand major-donor relationships, and strengthen the development operation across Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley.

The role leads a $1.25 million annual contributed-revenue expectation, oversees partnerships, and works closely with the CEO as a senior external leader committed to growing philanthropy and organizational capacity

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive fundraising experience.
Experience leading multi-market fundraising and donor pipelines.
Ability to set strategy and engage major donors.
Strong judgement, organization, and communication.

Responsibilities

Develop a comprehensive, multi-year fundraising strategy aligned with growth.
Lead annual contributed revenue; manage a portfolio of mid-level and major donors.
Supervise the Director of Partnerships and engage high-level donor relationships.
Build and lead a high-performing fundraising team with clear goals.
Partner with CEO and Board to advance donor engagement and development.
