Job summary

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley is seeking a Chief Development Officer to drive fundraising strategy and growth across NW Arkansas and the River Valley. You will lead an annual contributed revenue goal of $1.25M+ and manage a portfolio of mid-level and major donors.

You will supervise the Director of Partnerships and work closely with the CEO as a primary external leader, strengthening the development operation for multi-year growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive fundraising experience with demonstrated success.
• Ability to develop and execute multi-year fundraising strategies.
• Strong donor relationship cultivation and solicitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a comprehensive, multi-year fundraising strategy.
• Own annual contributed revenue of $1.25M+ from diverse sources.
• Lead and supervise the Director of Partnerships and Development staff.
• Grow major giving, corporate and foundation support, and events.
• Build systems, dashboards, and KPIs for accountable fundraising.
