McCarthy & Akers, PLC, a premier estate-planning law firm in Northern Virginia, seeks a hands-on Chief Marketing Officer to build a data-driven, profitable demand engine. You will personally drive execution across channels, content, and partnerships to deliver marketing-sourced revenue growth.

The role demands building a lean, high-leverage team, managing agencies and vendors, and establishing attribution and dashboards to guide decisions. Expect a substantial strategic impact on growth.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build and operate measurable demand-generation programs.
• Evidence of results expressed in numbers: leads, consultations, CAC, revenue and ROI.
• Experience scaling a professional services business to eight figures in annual revenue is highly preferred.
• High ownership: independent decision-making, rigorous testing, clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Build the annual go-to-market plan, channel strategy, forecast, and testing roadmap.
• Define ICPs, positioning, offers, and service-line messaging with partners.
• Develop repeatable demand across SEO, paid media, events, email, content, and referrals.
• Own marketing’s portion of the client journey from first touch to engagement.
• Establish attribution, dashboards, and data quality; drive budget decisions.
• Lead lean internal and external teams and manage vendors toward outcomes.
