Job summary

Cornerstone Practice Management is seeking a first Chief Marketing Officer to own brand, demand generation, and market positioning across the enterprise, reporting to the COO with a dotted line to the Managing Partner.

The CMO will lead a data‑driven, AI‑first marketing function across nationwide offices, ensure compliance with attorney advertising rules, and partner with BD and intake to optimize qualified leads and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of marketing leadership experience, with law firm exposure preferred.
• Experience building and leading a creative team delivering high‑quality, on‑brand output.
• Proven ability to own a data‑driven, revenue‑accountable marketing function.
• Fluency with AI tools in marketing for content, optimization, analytics, or personalization.
• Deep experience with marketing technology, analytics, and attribution (HubSpot preferred).

Responsibilities

• Build and own a full‑funnel client acquisition engine, from awareness to qualified intake, with ROI tracking.
• Define and steward the Frost Law brand as a national authority in tax controversy, across multiple markets.
• Lead the marketing function, including in‑house creative, setting structure, hiring, and managing vendors.
• Ensure compliance with attorney advertising rules across jurisdictions and maintain a defensible compliance framework.
• Champion an AI‑first approach to marketing operations, including content production, campaign optimization, and analytics.
