Job summary

Veeam Software, Inc. is seeking a Head of National Security Policy to be the senior technical authority for government-facing products, coordinating architecture, compliance, and deployment within U.S. government networks.

You will work closely with CTO, security, and engineering teams to align the platform with mission needs. The role requires deep government network expertise, experience with FedRAMP and IL5/IL6, and a track record of leading security-focused engineering initiatives.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in technical or engineering leadership within the U.S. government tech ecosystem.
• Direct, hands-on IC DoD/ civilian agency experience with RMF/ATO
• Experience achieving or operating within FedRAMP/IL4/IL5/IL6 boundaries
• Active or eligible US security clearance preferred (TS/SCI a plus)

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the technical strategy for government-facing products.
• Drive FedRAMP High, DoD IL5/IL6 authorization efforts and cross-domain requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering to shape architecture, security controls, and integration patterns.
• Present strategy and status to executive leadership and stakeholders.
