The Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI) seeks a Financial Executive Officer to lead the Fiscal Department from Boise. The role directs internal controls, reporting, investments coordination, and budgeting for a ~$23B pension fund serving 170,000 members and 800+ employers.

You'll oversee audits, trustees, and staff, ensuring compliance with GAAP, GASB and laws. Responsibilities include managing payroll, AP, procurement, risk, and capital outlays; developing executive briefs; and

Qualifikationen

• Experience leading a financial operation and managing staff.
• Experience designing and implementing complex computerized accounting or auditing systems.
• Experience preparing financial management documents and statements.
• Experience identifying and resolving problems involving financial software systems.
• Experience preparing and presenting to senior management.

Aufgaben

• Establish and manage internal financial controls and ensure reporting compliance.
• Oversee investing documentation, accounting, and cash management with managers and banks.
• Ensure on-time financial statements, audits, and reports per GAAP and GASB.
• Contract administration with custodians and trustees.
• Direct development and monitoring of budgets and policies.
• Lead financial staff and present status to the Retirement Board.
