• Assist actuary with investment valuation guidelines and portfolio valuation.
• Identify and report financial, compliance, legal, and operational risks to the agency and pension fund.
• Coordinate with Legislative Budget Board and Governor's Office on behalf of the agency.
• Develop financial forecasts and management reports for executive review.
• Manage financial systems strategies, including general ledgers and budgeting systems.
• Oversee budget development and financial operations of the agency.
• Ensure tax compliance and reporting for state and federal laws.
• Interface with investment consultants and money managers.
• Maintain and balance financial statements and schedules.
• Prepare general journal entries and process payments and vouchers.
• Audit accounting documents for accuracy and compliance.
