Job summary

Dubuque Racing Association (DRA) oversees Q Casino + Resort, The Key Hotel, and Back Waters Amphitheater in Dubuque, IA. The Chief Financial Officer will partner with the CEO and Board to guide enterprise-wide financial strategy, capital planning, and regulatory reporting across all properties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in progressive finance leadership; 5+ in CFO/Controller roles.
• Gaming/casino industry experience and IRGC/state gaming reporting familiarity preferred.
• Nonprofit or community-benefit finance experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership to the CEO and Board on enterprise-wide performance, capital allocation, and long-range planning.
• Oversee accounting, month-end/ year-end close, financial statements, and internal controls.
• Deliver analytics for revenue strategy, budgeting, and performance across gaming, hospitality, and entertainment assets.
• Lead treasury, risk management, debt financing, and capital project oversight; mentor finance teams.
