What You’ll Do
- Lead all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, with a focus on construction-specific challenges like job costing and progress billing.
- Oversee project financial performance, ensuring accurate cost tracking, margin analysis, and timely reporting for multiple concurrent builds.
- Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop long-term growth strategies, including capital planning and investment opportunities.
- Implement and refine financial systems and controls to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Manage relationships with banks, bonding companies, auditors, and key stakeholders.
- Provide clear, actionable insights to project managers and department heads to support operational excellence.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience as a CFO, Controller, or senior finance leader in the construction industry (commercial, civil, or industrial).
- Deep knowledge of construction accounting principles, including WIP schedules, retainage, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.
- Proficiency with construction ERP systems (Vista by Trimble and Procore).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
- Strategic mindset paired with hands‑on problem‑solving abilities.
- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred but not required.
