Job summary

Kforce Inc. in the Sheboygan area is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial and operational leadership for the nonprofit organization.

The CFO will be a trusted partner to the Executive Director, Board, and department leaders, guiding long-term financial health and overseeing Accounting, HR, IT, and Digital Systems. The role emphasizes governance, risk management, and aligning financial strategy with program goals, with a focus on audit readiness and affiliate entity

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
• Eight to ten years of progressive financial management experience with senior/executive leadership.
• Experience overseeing HR/IT/operational functions in addition to finance preferred.
• Experience with nonprofit consolidated audits and affiliated entity financial management preferred.

Kforce's client in the Sheboygan area is looking for a Chief Financial Officer. This role provides strategic financial and operational leadership the organization. As a member of the senior leadership team, the CFO serves as a trusted strategic partner to the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and departmental leadership - stewarding the organization's long-term financial health and leading its Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Digital Collections and Information Systems functions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
• Eight to ten (8-10) years of progressive experience in financial management required, with demonstrated leadership at the senior or executive level
• Experience managing HR, IT, or other operational functions in addition to finance preferred
• Experience with nonprofit consolidated audits and affiliated entity financial management preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
