Job summary

Kforce Inc. in the Sheboygan area is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial and operational leadership for the nonprofit organization.

The CFO will be a trusted partner to the Executive Director, Board, and department leaders, guiding long-term financial health and overseeing Accounting, HR, IT, and Digital Systems. The role emphasizes governance, risk management, and aligning financial strategy with program goals, with a focus on audit readiness and affiliate entity

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
• Eight to ten years of progressive financial management experience with senior/executive leadership.
• Experience overseeing HR/IT/operational functions in addition to finance preferred.
• Experience with nonprofit consolidated audits and affiliated entity financial management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial and operational leadership to the organization.
• Serve as trusted strategic partner to Executive Director, Board of Directors, and departmental leadership.
• Oversee Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Digital Collections and Information Systems.
• Support long-term financial health and governance.

Education

Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance

CPA designation

Eight to ten years of progressive experience in financial management

Experience managing HR, IT, or other operational functions in addition to finance

Experience with nonprofit consolidated audits and affiliated entity financial management
