Job summary

Mars Men is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to partner with the Co-Founders and executive team to lead financial strategy and operations as the company scales across DTC and retail. The role will own planning, reporting, cash management, and capital allocation while building a world-class finance function.

The ideal candidate has led finance in high-growth consumer brands, with strong FP&A, accounting, and working-capital discipline, and can balance growth with profitability and long-term

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a CFO or senior finance executive within a scaled, high-growth consumer business.
• Deep experience with DTC, eCommerce, retail, subscription, inventory, and performance marketing business models.
• Broad financial leadership experience spanning FP&A, accounting, cash and working capital, controls, and capital allocation.
• Demonstrated success building finance teams and infrastructure through periods of rapid growth and increasing complexity.
• Strong commercial judgment, executive presence, and ability to partner with founders and cross-functional executives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Co-Founders and executive team to translate strategy into financial priorities and investment decisions.
• Lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, cash management, capital allocation, and performance management.
• Provide visibility into drivers like unit economics, contribution margin, channel profitability, CAC, inventory, and working capital.
• Collaborate with Growth, eCommerce, Retail, and Operations to evaluate opportunities and improve performance.
• Build the finance team, systems, processes, and reporting infrastructure to support scale.
• Lead financial workstreams for strategic transactions and act as primary partner to lenders and advisors.

Recently backed by L Catterton, Mars Men is positioned to become the leading men’s health brand in the supplement space. We operate across DTC, retail, and emerging channels, and are entering our next phase of growth as we continue scaling the business.

We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to serve as a close strategic partner to our Co-Founders and executive team. This leader will own the company’s financial strategy and operations, including planning, reporting, accounting, cash and working capital management, capital allocation, controls, and the continued development of the finance organization. The ideal candidate has helped scale a complex, high-growth consumer business across DTC and retail. They will bring the commercial judgment, operational discipline, and financial leadership required to balance continued growth with profitability, cash management, and long-term value creation.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with the Co-Founders and executive team to translate the company’s strategy into clear financial priorities, operating plans, and investment decisions

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, cash management, capital allocation, and company-wide performance management

• Provide clear visibility into the drivers of the business, including unit economics, contribution margin, channel profitability, customer acquisition, inventory, and working capital

• Partner with Growth, eCommerce, Retail, and Operations to evaluate opportunities, improve performance, and strengthen financial accountability

• Build and develop the finance team, systems, processes, and reporting infrastructure required to support continued scale

• Lead the financial workstreams for future strategic transactions and serve as the primary finance partner to L Catterton, lenders, and external advisors

Must-Have Requirements

• Prior experience as a CFO or senior finance executive within a scaled, high-growth consumer business

• Deep experience with DTC, eCommerce, retail, subscription, inventory, and performance marketing business models

• Broad financial leadership experience spanning FP&A, accounting, cash and working capital, controls, and capital allocation

• Demonstrated success building finance teams and infrastructure through periods of rapid growth and increasing complexity

• Strong commercial judgment, executive presence, and ability to partner effectively with founders and cross-functional executives

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a private equity-backed or sponsor-backed environment

• Experience helping lead a successful sale, recapitalization, or other significant strategic transaction
