Creative Financial Staffing, LLC has a Chief Financial Officer opportunity in New York, overseeing all aspects of finance for a mission-driven nonprofit with a $30M+ budget. Qualifications

• 12+ years of senior nonprofit finance leadership experience, including CFO-level responsibility.
• Deep expertise with government grants, contracts, restricted funding, Medicaid/Medicare reimbursement, and audit management.
• Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting, GAAP, budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
• CPA and experience with NYC nonprofit organizations, government funding, and PASSPort preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and cash management functions.
• Oversee government grants, contracts, Medicaid/Medicare billing, audits, and regulatory reporting; partner with the CEO and Board to provide financial strategy, analysis, and decision support.
• Manage and develop a finance organization of 10-12 professionals across accounting, grants, billing, and financial operations.
• Drive process improvements, internal controls, financial reporting enhancements, and systems modernization initiatives.
