With over $3 billion AUM, this Los Angeles-based Investment Management Firm is expanding operations and seeking a CFO to partner with the executive team. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing accounting and finance functions, as well as IR and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the year-end tax process with the external tax preparer and assist in monitoring portfolio investments and valuations
• Coordinate finance and accounting activities with the Fund Administration team, including investment vehicles and general partnerships
• Manage the timing, preparation, and administration of all capital calls, distributions, line of credit advances/payments, and investor letters
• Oversee cash management, including monthly bank account reconciliation and setup of payments for expenses and AP
• Manage the year-end tax process with an external tax preparer to ensure compliance with various payments and entity filings
• Assist with audit preparation
• Collect and review quarterly compliance reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar field of study
• CPA is a huge plus
• 10+ years of fund administration, accounting, and auditing
• Experience with tax filings such as FTB 3522, 3538, LA City, 1099s, etc.
• Knowledge of investment accounting concepts and alternative investments
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills

This onsite opportunity in the Los Angeles area offers a base salary of up to $300k (DOE).
