Job summary

Connect Search, LLC is seeking a hands-on Chief Financial Officer for a fast-growing, multi-site outpatient healthcare provider in the Chicago western suburbs. This on-site role offers a base of $200K-$250K plus bonus and reports to the CEO and COO.

A lean in-house finance team is being built. Ideal candidate has 8+ years in healthcare finance leadership, strong modeling, forecasting, and budgeting skills, and a demonstrated ability to partner with operations and clinical leadership.

Qualifications

• Healthcare industry experience, ideally provider revenue
• 8+ years progressive finance and accounting experience
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting
• Cross-functional business partnership with operations and clinical leadership
• Comfortable rolling up sleeves in a lean environment

Responsibilities

• Build multi-location forecast model tied to headcount, capacity, and staffing
• Rolling 13-week cash flow
• Monthly financial statements and board reporting, audit-ready processes
• Oversee Revenue Cycle Management: billing, denials, fee schedules, payor contracts, collections
• Manage and mentor a small finance team
• Evaluate contracts, renewals, and site or service line expansion
• Partner with IT on BI, KPI reporting, and system implementations

Job description

Chief Financial Officer, multi-site outpatient healthcare provider, Chicago western suburbs, on‑site 5 days. Base of $200-250K plus bonus.

Hands‑on, builder CFO for a fast‑growing, multi‑state healthcare platform. Reports to CEO and COO. Small in‑house finance team being built out.

Ideal background: healthcare finance leader stepping up to a first CFO seat. Titles that fit: VP Finance, Controller, VP Controller, Director of Finance, Director of Accounting, Head of Finance. Not looking for a multi‑time CFO.

Must have:

• Healthcare industry experience, ideally provider‑side with commercial insurance and Medicare revenue
• 8+ years progressive finance and accounting experience
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting
• Cross‑functional business partnership with operations and clinical leadership
• Comfortable rolling up sleeves in a lean environment
