Job Description

Podium is a fast-growing, mission-driven SaaS company transforming how educators and students engage with learning. As we scale toward our next phase of growth, we are seeking a strategic, hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Executive Team.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of financial leadership and operational savvy, capable of driving high-level strategy while also diving deep into models, systems, and metrics. The CFO will oversee all financial functions, lead future financing efforts, support strategic decisions, and build a scalable finance function that can support our continued growth. This is an ideal opportunity for a finance leader excited to help scale a high-impact, hyper-growth company as part of a fast-paced, competitive, and fun team.

This role is remote-flexible. We are located on South Congress Ave (next door to Allen’s Boots!) and would love to have you in the office occasionally, but no relocation necessary.

Responsibilities

• Ability to lead financial strategy while managing tactical execution.

• Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills with a hands-on approach.

• Experience leveraging advancement in AI to support scaling company financial capabilities with a lean team.

• Strong command of SaaS metrics and operational KPIs.

• Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to Boards and investors.

• Comfort with ambiguity and rapid growth environments.

Qualifications

• Previous CFO at a SaaS or tech-enabled company in the growth-stage preferred. Prior Head of Finance or #2 in a Finance organization where the candidate has significant experience with financing transactions.

• Demonstrated success leading major financing events (equity, debt, or strategic).

• Experience implementing scalable financial systems and processes in a growth-stage company.

• Success building financial teams to support company needs, while growing and developing leaders.

• Track record of partnering with executive teams on strategy, planning, and business operations.
