Job description

We are seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer to join our executive leadership team. This role requires the ability to live and work approximately 50% in the United States and 50% in China, supporting global operations and collaborating closely with stakeholders across both regions.

Need to be bilingual in English and Mandarin.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will be a trusted strategic partner to the CEO, senior leadership. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial vision and operational execution to support rapid growth, both organic and inorganic.

The ideal candidate is an experienced finance executive with a successful track record in high-growth environments. They must be passionate about building and leading a high-performing finance team while communicating complex business narratives to sophisticated stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and leadership team, contributing to business development, long-term planning, and corporate strategy.
• Lead all financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, budgeting, internal controls, treasury, and investor relations.
• Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational insights and make actionable recommendations.
• Partner with the CEO to prepare Board materials and ensure transparency through quarterly and annual reports.
• Drive strategic financial planning and oversee budgetary processes to align with company goals.
• Manage relationships with investors, analysts, financial institutions, and auditors.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements, and manage all audit and reporting processes.
• Build and lead a world-class finance team

Key Qualifications:

• 15+ years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in the biotech or life sciences sector.
• Strong communication skills to effectively articulate the company’s value proposition
• Experience with reporting and business planning, as well as functional support, such as treasury, tax, controllership, and audit operations.
• Extensive financial management, global operations, and strategic planning experience in multinational organizations across the healthcare, services, and manufacturing industries.

Education & Credentials:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
