Job summary

The Chief Financial and Administrative Officer at Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri leads financial operations, GAAP compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls to ensure fiscal integrity and mission impact. This role also provides strategic guidance to the CEO and Board, while overseeing technology systems, retail operations, property management, and capital planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Ten (10) years of directly relevant work experience, preferably in a nonprofit organization.
• Valid state driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance on financial performance, resource allocation, and long-term fiscal policies.
• Direct and oversee all financial reporting activities to the CEO, Board, and committees.
• Direct accounting operations including general ledger, payables/receivables, payroll coordination, and cash management.
