Encompass Health is seeking a Hospital CEO to lead one of our 150+ inpatient rehabilitation facilities across the network. You will drive strategic direction, oversee hospital operations, ensure financial stability, and enhance patient care in a supportive, inclusive environment.

The role requires a strong healthcare leadership background, advanced degree, and a proven track record managing complex hospital operations and teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

Master's degree in a relevant field is required or significantly equivalent experience.
Extensive healthcare leadership and hospital operations experience at senior levels.
Ability to lead financial stability and strategic initiatives across 150+ hospitals.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure seamless hospital operations.
Oversee patient census, marketing of services, and community engagement.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related healthcare field (preferred).
Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with work experience equivalent to a Master's degree, as demonstrated by responsibilities such as overseeing hospital operations, budget development, analysis and oversight, marketing for volume growth and program development, FTE management, expense control, policy and procedure development and implementation, and process development to ensure regulatory compliance.
Five years of management experience in the healthcare industry, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a Senior Management position.
May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and/or night shifts.
May be required to work on religious and/or legal holidays on scheduled days/shifts.
