Job summary

Saint Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church seeks an Executive Director of Evangelization and Mission to translate the parish’s Catholic mission into strategic priorities across evangelization, formation, and outreach. You will lead a team, align ministries, and drive engagement and service consistent with Catholic social teaching.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a deep commitment to evangelization, lifelong formation, and parish life.

Qualifications

Practicing Catholic in good standing and aligned with Catholic teaching.
Significant leadership and management experience overseeing professional staff.
Ability to articulate vision, develop strategy, set priorities, and translate plans into measurable results.
Strong understanding of parish life, evangelization, formation, and mission.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies for evangelization, formation, and parish engagement.
Lead executive oversight of ministries and staff to ensure a unified mission.
Collaborate with parish leadership to align programs with vision and priorities.
Oversee outreach, charity, and Catholic social mission initiatives.
Foster collaboration across departments, stewardship, and community partnerships.
Provide strategic budgeting oversight and resource stewardship.
