Job description

Job Title: General Manager

Compensation up to $165,000 per year + Full Benefits. As a General Manager, you will plan, manage, and guide multiple contracted services, normally generating over $30M in revenue, to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives, and customer needs. Services include Concessions, Premium Services, Catering, Retail, and more.

Our client's General Managers are capable operations managers who lead a team to provide excellent service to clients and guests. They exemplify core leadership components: personal, customer, and people leadership. With knowledge of the client’s business, positive relationship-building skills, financial savvy, and a focus on safety, our team makes a difference every day. Ideal candidates have managed large revenue accounts, are driven by data, and have extensive experience with financial analytics and forecasting.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Directly responsible for all P&L related to food, beverage, and retail merchandise at a local sports stadium.
  2. Manage the client relationship at the location, while providing hands-on operational management.
  3. Manage a large team of managers and staff across multiple units and concepts.
  4. Develop new concepts to increase revenue sources for public foods/concessions, premium service, and catering outlets.
  5. Partner with the District Manager/Vice President of Operations to plan and execute business development strategies for growth.
  6. Plan, direct, and control multiple services (e.g., food service, merchandise, event planning) to meet financial and operational goals, client objectives, and customer needs.
  7. Recruit and develop new and existing managers.
  8. Interact successfully with clients, stadium guests, and employees daily.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5+ years of multi-unit management experience.
  • Direct P&L responsibility within a comparable scope environment.
  • Ability to lead a team of culinary and operations managers in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing diverse environments with a focus on client and customer service, entrepreneurship, and business growth.
  • Ability to taste and smell food to assess quality and palatability.
  • Effective communication skills with clients, senior management, and support staff.
  • Ability to adapt to changing demands. P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable.
  • Willingness to be hands-on with staff and operations, and to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
