Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System seeks a visionary executive to lead Enterprise Emergency Management & System Resilience. You will direct all-hazards emergency management, clinical preparedness, business continuity, crisis management, and resilience across the health system.

The role requires deep strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration with nursing, medical staff, and operations, and oversight of EOC/HICS activations, risk governance, and readiness metrics.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a healthcare or emergency management field is required.
• Progressive executive leadership experience in health system operations and emergency preparedness.
• Experience leading enterprise emergency management programs across multiple sites.
• MD/RN or equivalent licensure with eligibility for NY licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for enterprise emergency management, clinical preparedness, business continuity, crisis management, and resilience.
• Oversee EOC activation, HICS governance, and enterprise risk mitigation.
• Partner with senior leaders to align preparedness with system mission and growth.
• Develop dashboards, metrics, and governance for system-wide readiness.
