Job summary

Mount Sinai seeks a Director of Enterprise Strategy to shape and realize the health system’s mission, vision, and long-term goals across clinical, research, and educational activities. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree preferred (MBA, MHA, MPH, or related).
• At least 5 years in enterprise strategy, strategic planning, or related fields within large, complex healthcare organizations or academic medical centers.
• Demonstrated success in leading market assessments, competitive analysis, and business case development in healthcare.
• Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in SQL or Python; knowledge of healthcare claims data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support development and refinement of enterprise-wide strategic plans aligned with Mount Sinai’s mission, values, and objectives across clinical, research, and educational activities.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to identify and evaluate new strategic opportunities and relationships.
• Conduct environmental scans, market analyses, competitor analyses and scenario planning to inform decisions; leverage data analytics and forecasting.
• Synthesize findings into executive-level narratives and recommendations for multi-year strategic investments.
• Present recommendations to stakeholders and leaders to inform decision-making and translate priorities into actionable initiatives with measurable metrics.
