Job summary

Raymond James is seeking an senior technology leader to own the enterprise cloud and data center target architecture. You will drive the hybrid, multi-cloud strategy, establish workload-placement standards, and guide modernization efforts while balancing resiliency and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes AI-forward practices, including AI coding agents, infrastructure-as-code, and architecture documentation to accelerate migration programs.

Qualifications

• 15+ years hands-on depth across public cloud, data center, networking, storage and resiliency.
• AI-forward by habit, uses agentic tools daily, and can show how AI improved architecture and migration work.
• Writes and reviews infrastructure as code, and can defend a placement decision with Engineers and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise cloud and data center target architecture and roadmap across AWS, Azure, private cloud and SaaS.
• Own workload-placement framework considering cost, resiliency, data residency, latency, regulatory obligations and exit risk.
• Set landing-zone and platform standards for identity, networking, guardrails, tagging and observability.
