Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. seeks a Vice President of Architecture to set the enterprise technology strategy and operating model, aligning business priorities with secure, scalable architecture across platforms, data, cloud, and security.

This executive advises the C-suite and leads a high-performing architecture organization. You will chair governance, define standards, manage risk, and drive modernization while balancing near-term delivery with long-term health.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive technology experience with enterprise architecture leadership.
• 7+ years leading managers and senior technical professionals.
• Experience shaping enterprise technology strategy and roadmaps.
• Proven ability to govern major investments and modernization programs.
• Strong communication with executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise architecture vision, standards, and roadmaps.
• Lead governance forums and establish decision rights.
• Assess emerging tech trends for business impact and risk.
• Translate business strategy into technology capabilities and investments.
• Oversee architecture across applications, data, cloud, and security.
• Develop architecture talent and succession planning.
