Job summary

Bloomberg Industry Group seeks an Engineering Head of Strategy, Operations & Talent to act as the CTO's chief operating partner, driving organizational effectiveness, strategic execution, governance, and talent excellence across the technology organization.

The role oversees the engineering operating cadence, budget governance, executive reporting, and workforce planning, ensuring accountability and alignment across all engineering functions to deliver technology outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering operations or IT orgs at scale.
• Strong ability to drive strategic planning and execution across departments.
• Proven track record in governance, budgeting and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operating cadence for the Engineering org and develop the strategic operating plan.
• Coordinate annual planning, QBRs, dashboards and KPI reporting for executive leadership.
• Oversee portfolio, program and transformation initiatives ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Own financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and cost optimization for engineering.
• Coordinate governance, compliance, risk management and audit readiness for technology.
