Qualifications

10-15 years of SRM experience in design, analysis and testing.
Strong leadership with the ability to oversee complex projects.
Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering team in design, analysis, and test of solid rocket motor components and systems.
Collaborate with propulsion, materials, and structural engineers for integrated designs.
Work with ballistics to optimize thrust, burn rate and pressure profiles.
Define and perform ground-based testing of SRM prototypes and sub-assemblies.
Evaluate and implement advanced manufacturing techniques for motor production.
Develop testing procedures and safety protocols.
Document design processes, results, and findings for stakeholders.
Stay current with industry trends in solid propulsion technologies.
