Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. seeks a veteran Chief Engineer for Signal Processing, RF Engineering, Modeling & Simulation. You will lead RF-driven, sensing and communication systems engineering, guiding architecture development and predictive sustainment analytics.

Expect oversight across MS&A, digital engineering, and MBSE while mentoring teams and ensuring traceability to requirements. Strong collaboration with leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with active Secret or TS/SCI and ability to obtain SAP.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Applied Physics, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in RF systems, signal processing, sensing technologies, or mission/system modeling.
• Demonstrated expertise leading MS&A activities and architecture-level engineering assessments.
• Experience with digital engineering, MBSE, model validation, and configuration-controlled system baselines.
• Strong background in reliability engineering, predictive analytics, or condition-based maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior technical authority for RF-driven, sensing, and communication-dependent systems.
• Direct MS&A activities and architecture development across system characterization and lifecycle performance.
• Mentor cross-functional engineering teams and provide guidance on RF design, sensing, and sustainment.
• Partner with program managers and leadership to align engineering decisions with mission objectives and modernization plans.
