Job summary

Outbound Park City is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the engineering department, ensuring maintenance, repair, and safe operation of all property equipment, systems, and facilities. You will develop preventative maintenance programs, oversee life-safety and security systems, and manage the engineering team to support guest comfort and operational excellence.

This leadership role focuses on sustainability, cost control, and adherence to codes while upholding brand standards in a premier resort

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of leadership experience in facilities management.
• Experience in preventative maintenance tracking and work order systems.
• Experience coordinating hospitality capital improvements (public areas, guestrooms, FF&E).
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local codes.
• Extensive knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Strong financial forecasting skills.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hotel facility and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Respond to emergency situations such as fire alarms and life-safety events.
• Negotiate, prepare, and administer contracts with consultants and contractors.
• Produce annual operating budget for payroll, expenses, utilities, and capital improvements.
• Direct ADA compliance efforts of the property.
• Oversee lifecycle maintenance of public areas, guestrooms, and building systems.
• Manage inventory of parts, supplies, tools, and material for the department.
