Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Waco, Texas is seeking a Chief Engineer for the Missionization and Sustainment programs. You will lead cross-functional engineering efforts across aircraft modification programs, ensuring schedule, cost, and technical performance meet stringent DoD standards.

Qualifications

• Broad aerospace engineering knowledge and aircraft modification experience.
• Experience with FAA (STC) and Military (MTC) certification activities.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engineering strategies and roadmaps for aircraft modifications.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple programs from concept to execution.
• Review designs, proposals, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage budgets and resources.
• Serve as primary technical point of contact for customers and stakeholders.
