Qualifications

• Graduate degree is a plus with 7+ years of related experience; more experience can substitute.
• Experience with aircraft structural design and modifications is required.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and lead a team of ~12 Mechanical Engineers for aircraft upgrades and modifications.
• Oversee mechanical design, integration, and structural components to meet requirements.
• Ensure high-quality CAD designs, drawings, and design reviews per standards.
• Provide technical oversight on layouts, modifications, and liaison activities.
• Manage resource planning, workload forecasting, and project staffing.
• Support bids, proposals, and ensure cost/schedule/quality alignment.
• Drive process improvements and maintain ethical, safe, inclusive culture.
