Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Chief Engineer for Air Defense programs supporting the U.S. Marine Corps. You own system architecture, integration strategy, fielding readiness, and sustainment outcomes across the fielded installations and maneuver programs.

You chair design reviews, set the technical baseline, and coordinate with engineers, product teams, and field personnel to deliver ready, compliant capabilities including sensors, networks, and counter-UAS solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have technical ownership across fielded systems.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Experience briefing senior technical leadership and customer program leadership directly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Chief Engineer for Air Defense's U.S. Marine Corps programs and own system architecture, integration strategy, fielding readiness, and sustainment outcomes across installations and maneuver programs.
• Maintain the engineering baseline for fielded systems and manage configuration changes across sites; determine readiness for delivery.
• Turn Marine Corps operational concepts into deployable systems within size, weight, power, and transportability constraints; define interfaces to C2 and effectors and own the technical case through demonstrations and fly-offs.
• Review product content before customer presentation; state what works today, what needs an engineering sprint, and what isn’t ready; align customer commitments with engineering.
